Walk By Faith

Peter Walked on Water

Set His Eyes to his Savior

With Christ's arms open wide

He Cried "Come here my child"

Walk By Faith and not by sight

Set your eyes on Jesus Christ

Tread the narrow road behind

Walk By Faith

Boy Blind from birth

Wishing only to see

Christ took from the earth

Said "walk and be healed"

I know the road is tough

But if you keep your eyes on Jesus

He will Lead you on

He will Lead you Home

  Trust and Obey

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Refrain

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy with Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.

Refrain

Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.

Refrain

But we never can prove the delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.

Refrain

Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet.
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way.
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

Refrain

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,

She Smiled

It's been a year now and I'm finally gettin over her somehow

I've been telling all my friends "I'm not going through that again, real soon"

The game is over for me, I'm an official retiree

In the game of Love

But none of that explains, the way I feel today

She walked in

And she smiled

Running 15 mins late, to me that just seemed great

I've never seen her around

And I didn't even notice all the things, the guys talk about

Just her smile

And maybe someday, her pretty face

Will be smilin' for me

Went out with the group

And it just seemed like us two

I've been tellin all my friends, "I might just try it again, real soon"

The game ain't over for me, but lets just wait and see

Then you smiled

Maybe that explains

The way I felt today

There you go again

You Smiled

Even though this ain't a date to me it just seems great

I like seein you around

And I don't even notice all the things

The guys talk about

Just Your smile

and maybe someday Your pretty face

Will be smilin for me

  Old Rugged Cross

On a hill far away, stood an old rugged Cross,
The emblem of suff'ring and shame,
And I love that old Cross where the dearest and best,
For a world of lost sinners was slain.

So I'll cherish the old rugged Cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down,
I will cling to the old rugged Cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.

Oh, that old rugged Cross so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me,
For the dear Lamb of God, left his Glory above,
To bear it to dark Calvary.

So I'll cherish the old rugged Cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down,
I will cling to the old rugged Cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.

In the old rugged Cross, stain'd with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty I see,
For the dear Lamb of God, left his Glory above,
To pardon and sanctify me.

So I'll cherish the old rugged Cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down,
I will cling to the old rugged Cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.

To the old rugged Cross, I will ever be true,
Its shame and reproach gladly bear,
Then He'll call me some day to my home far away,
Where his glory forever I'll share.

So I'll cherish the old rugged Cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down,
I will cling to the old rugged Cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.

  Because He Lives

God sent His son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal, and forgive.
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone.
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living just because He lives.

How sweet to hold a newborn baby,
And feel the pride and joy he gives.
But greater still the calm assurance,
This child can face uncertain days because He lives.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone.
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living just because He lives.

And then one day I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain.
And then as death gives way to victory,
I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone!
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives!

Drinking From My Saucer

Sometimes we get discouraged and we think that we've done all we can do

We try and try but we don't seem, to get it through

Just sit back and realize, that we've done all that we can

The next step is to put it all, in the Fathers hands

So Lord, help me not to grip, about the tough rows that I've Hoed

I'm drinkin from my saucer, because my cup has overflowed

Yes I'm drinkin from my saucer, because my cup has overflowed

We tend to remind God of all the things, that He hasn't done

Then, He mentions that He sent, His only Son

And then, from the past, an old prayer request comes true

And you know in Your heart, he had a different plan for You

So Thank God everyday, Just look outside and remember this is the day

That He created just for you

So honer him in all that you do

He loves You beyond understanding

So, when times get tough don't you start complaining

Cause you may think this toughness is beyond compare

But you have no idea, What troubles you've been spared

Draw Me Close

Draw me close to you

Never let me go

I lay it all down again

To hear you say that I'm your friend

You are my desire

No one else will do

Cause nothing else could take your place

To feel the warmth of your embrace

Help me find the way, bring me back to you

(chorus)

You're all I want

You're all I've ever needed

You're all I want

Help me know you are near

I Know I Can Help Him

I got a call just yesterday, from mom of a friend I'd had

I couldn't believe what she had to say

For him things had turned bad

She given up hope she'd done all that she could, "can you help him?"

She asked could I help him

Well I know I could help him, but only in Your time

With what You have taught me, I think he'll pull through just fine

Give me the words to say, and I'll pray that you'll be there

Cause I know you can help him, but only in Your time

I called him on the phone today, A friend I had known so well

Been a while since I heard him say

anything at all

I would never have thought, he'd be the one needing me

What he needs now is you...

He so in need

I know he will see

Lord please use me

He so in need

I know he will see

Lord please use me

Lord please use me
